I came to know about it from a college prof. who was my neighbor and he went in detail to explain me it's meaning and virtue and significance.
Whatever be the case bakchodi is a slang not often used among decent crowds and it means more than mere gossip.
A bakchod is a asshole who talks crap and sometimes people say this to vent there anger,"Wo bahaut bara bakchod hai".
A bakchod can also be someone who goes on doing stupid things,i.e.,he's simply stupid or a bakchod.
Bakchodi is doing things someone may hate and the flat rebuttal may come like,"Jyada bakchodi matt kataa."
bakchodi or its colloquial variant bakarchodi is actually a Sanskrit word, derived from the ancient Pali script.. as Indians are the masters of this lost art, and had debates lasting upto 6 months!! its true...:P
